Killer Nurse Lucy Letby ‘Happy’ After Luxury Jail Upgrades

Prison Jail Cell

Baby killer Lucy Letby has whipped up jealousy amongst prison inmates as she’s awarded a number of ‘cushy’ privileges.

The former neo-natal nurse is one of the few British criminals to have been slapped with a whole life sentence. Letby, 33, who is originally from Hereford, was convicted of murdering seven babies at the Countess of Chester Hospital between 2015 and 2016.

At the official sentencing, which cowardly Letby did not attend, the judge ruled that Britain’s worst child killer would never be freed:

‘’There was a deep malevolence bordering on sadism in your actions. During the course of this trial you have coldly denied any responsibility for your wrongdoing and sought to attribute some fault to others. You have shown no remorse. There are no mitigating factors.”

Letby was originally sent to HMP Low Newton, where she was confined to a segregation block for her own protection, but in recent days it’s been reported that the evil serial killer has been transferred to privately owned HMP Bronzefield where she’s purportedly enjoying numerous comforts usually reserved as a reward for long-term good behaviour.

The evil nurse now kicks back in her own private cell complete with a television, desk, phone and luxury en-suite shower. She’s also been given a make-over and has dyed her hair brown to change her appearance.

“Letby seems happy as Larry. She is in a nice cell and on her own,’’ a source told The Sun.

‘’The facilities at Bronzefield are much nicer than most jails, because it’s privately run. She is with prisoners who have earned more rights to watch TV, spend their cash and have visits.

“It is a disgrace and it’s no wonder she’s been looking so happy. She seems to be being treated with kid gloves because of who she is.’’

These are not the only snippets of controversial rumours about Letby’s supposedly cushy time behind bars.

Whilst awaiting sentencing, Letby was reported to have been part of a twisted friendship group with two other child murderers.

The source said Letby had fun sunbathing, playing board games, singing karaoke and eating meals with Michelle Smith – who killed her baby with a pain-killer overdose and Shauna Hoare who was convicted of killing schoolgirl Becky Watts.

“They were together 24 hours a day – they were a well-known threesome and were literally never apart. They’d spend hours sitting on the wing landing playing board games, eating dinner together and tanning in the courtyard,’’ the source told The Mirror.

“I think they got on because they all believed they were innocent.’’

Letby, who is appealing her conviction, will face a retrial for the attempted murder of a baby girl. The jury were unable to reach a verdict on six counts of attempted murder of six babies during the original trial in August.

On December 1, The Nursing and Midwifery Council gave notice that it intends to strip the disgraced nurse off the register before the end of the month.
