Netflix Strikes Again: UK Subscribers Furious Over Another Price Hike!

Netflix has done it again, and subscribers in the UK are NOT happy! The streaming giant has quietly pushed through another price hike, hitting customers with higher bills at a time when budgets are already stretched thin.

How Much More Will You Pay?

If you’re on Netflix’s Standard plan without ads, get ready to fork out £12.99 per month, up from £10.99—a £2 jump! And for those on the Premium plan, the price has crept up to £18.99 per month—a £1 increase. Even the Standard with ads plan isn’t safe, now costing £5.99 instead of £4.99.

For millions of subscribers, this is a bitter pill to swallow—especially considering Netflix hiked its prices just 16 months ago!

Why Is Netflix Doing This?

Netflix claims the price increase is “necessary” to continue investing in top-quality shows and movies. But with constant cancellations of fan-favorite series and an ever-growing list of competitors, many are questioning if it’s really worth it.

Streaming expert Ernest Doku of Uswitch.com says Netflix is using its market dominance to justify these increases, knowing that people feel trapped by their favorite shows. But with platforms like Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV+ offering cheaper alternatives, some customers are finally ready to walk away.

Is It Time to Say Goodbye to Netflix?

With subscription fatigue setting in, more people are switching to cheaper or free streaming services. The question now is: Will YOU continue paying more for Netflix, or is it time to hit ‘Cancel Subscription’?
